Vice-President greets the nation on the eve of Republic Day

I convey my best wishes to all countrymen on the joyous occasion of our 75th Republic Day.

Seventy-five years ago, the founding fathers of our Constitution envisioned a nation where justice, liberty, equality and fraternity would be the guiding principles of the world’s largest and the most inclusive democracy. On this day, in the AmritKaal of our Republic, we reflect upon the struggles, sacrifices and accomplishments that have shaped Bharat as a beacon of hope for rest of humanity.

As we celebrate our achievements, on this 75th anniversary of our Republic, let us resolve to recommit ourselves to the principles enshrined in our Constitution, and work together towards building an ever stronger and more prosperous Bharat.
