He was warmly received at Dehradun Airport by the Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd.), and the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with other dignitaries. The Vice-President was also accorded a Guard of Honour upon his arrival.
