Jagannath Reddy Ji, Principal, CMR Institute of Technology, Dr. Sanjay Jain Ji and others.

It gives me great joy to address you all on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebrations of the CMR Institute of Technology. Twenty-five years for an Institute is not a measure of time. It is a demonstration of its academic excellence and institutional growth. It is a celebration of vision, perseverance, and purpose. I am happy to learn that the Institute has been accredited with the highest A++ Grade by the NAAC. I am also pleased to inaugurate the incubation centre and the auditorium on this occasion.

Twenty-five years ago, the CMR Institute of Technology was founded with a clear belief: that technical education must not only create skilled engineers, but also responsible citizens and ethical leaders. From those early classrooms to the vibrant campus we see today, this institution has steadily translated that belief into reality. Over the years, CMR Institute of Technology has evolved into a centre of learning where knowledge meets innovation, and discipline is blended with creativity. I am pleased to see that the Institute has kept pace with rapid technological change while remaining anchored in strong academic values. This balance is not by accident; it is the result of thoughtful leadership, committed faculty, and a culture that respects both tradition and transformation. The strength of any institution lies in its faculty.

The teachers of the CMR Institute of Technology have not merely taught the syllabus. They have mentored minds, ignited curiosity, and shaped character. Their dedication has ensured that classrooms here are not spaces of rote learning, but laboratories of ideas. The students and the alumni have also contributed equally to the Institute’s excellence. The alumni of CMR Institute of Technology, spread across industries, research institutions, and entrepreneurial ventures beyond national boundaries, are the living ambassadors of this institution’s values. Their achievements speak louder than any brochure or ranking. Dear students, you are standing on strong shoulders. You inherit not just infrastructure and opportunity, but a legacy of effort and excellence. In a world shaped by artificial intelligence, sustainability challenges, and global uncertainty, you are expected to be creative, ethical, courageous, and stay strong and confident. Institutions like CMR Institute of Technology exist to prepare you not just for jobs, but for life and leadership.

As Bharat moves forward on the path of innovation-driven growth, institutions of technology carry a special responsibility. We are no longer only an adopter of technology we are emerging as creators of technology. Initiatives like Digital India, Startup India, and Make in India, have made the entrepreneurial ecosystem in our country vibrant and supportive. It gives me immense pleasure to see that your Institute has created a strong ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship, nurturing 50 + startups through the CMRIT Innovation & Incubation Centre. The global scenario today is full of challenges. Climate change, cyber-security threats, equitable access to technology, and ethical use of AI are some of them. These challenges also offer incredible opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shriman Narendra Modi Ji had the foresight and vision to implement the National Education Policy-2020, which sets the roadmap for India’s youth to make use of the future opportunities and to face the challenges firmly. It allows learning and gaining expertise on multiple subjects. National Education Policy-2020 has at its soul Indian culture, tradition and ethos. Dear students, you are the wealth of this Nation. Stay away from all forms of addiction. I request you all to always say ‘No to Drugs’. You must encourage your friends also to say ‘No to Drugs’. I also advise you all to always be mindful of your social media usage, use it as a technological tool, and not get enslaved by it. The next two decades are crucial both for the Nation at large and for all of you young people. Bharat will be marching towards a Viksit Bharat goal while your Institute will be walking towards your Golden Jubilee celebrations. This journey will demand not only smarter, talented engineers, but wiser human beings. The Silver Jubilee is therefore both a milestone and a mirror.  It invites us to celebrate achievements, but also to ask: How can we serve society better?  How can we innovate responsibly? How can we remain relevant without losing our values? I am sure that CMR Institute of Technology, with its strong foundation, visionary leadership, and youthful energy, is well prepared to answer these questions.

It is already there in the CMR Institute’s Mission statement As we commemorate this proud journey of twenty-five years, let us honour The founders who dreamed, The educators who built, The students who believed, and the alumni who carried this institution forward as ambassadors. May the next chapter of CMR Institute of Technology be marked by excellence with empathy, innovation with integrity, and growth with purpose. Congratulations to the entire CMR family on this Silver Jubilee, and best wishes for a bright and successful future. Jai Hind! Long live Mother Bharat!
