Interaction with Darjeeling Youth Delegation
I touch and salute the holy feet of Bharat Mata- The Most powerful and the most Merciful. It is a matter of great pleasure to welcome this vibrant delegation of young minds of Darjeeling. On this occasion, the dignitaries sharing the dais with me, Hon’ble Member of Rajya Sabha, Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, and my dear youth from Darjeeling.
You come from a land that is not only blessed with extraordinary natural beauty, but is also rich in culture, harmony, and a proud legacy of contributions to our nation. Today, as you stand here, you represent the aspirations of a new India — confident, capable, and forward-looking.
Our nation is one with the youngest population in the world, and this demographic strength, is our greatest strength. What you dream today, will shape the destiny of our country tomorrow. Our nation is moving with determination towards the vision of Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. These are not merely policy goals; they are a call to every young citizen to contribute with innovation, integrity, and enterprise. A Viksit Bharat will be built by educated, skilled, and socially conscious youth.
An Aatmanirbhar Bharat will be strengthened by your creativity, your entrepreneurship, your scientific temper, and your commitment to excellence. Self-reliance does not mean isolation; it means confidence in our abilities, pride in our heritage, and leadership on the global stage. I encourage each of you to dream boldly and work diligently.

Coming from Darjeeling, a land known across the world for its unique identity and excellence, you carry a special responsibility. Let your roots give you strength, and let your aspirations give you wings. Remain proud of your heritage while embracing the opportunities of a rapidly changing world. I also urge all of you to always say ‘No to Drugs’, Also always be aware to use social media as a constructive tool without getting enslaved by it.
