Literary writings must foster harmony, love and social equality in society: Vice President Receives first copy of book SAMEEPYA
The Vice President of India, Shri. M. Venkaiah Naidu has called on the literary writers to write on social issues particularly to foster harmony, love and social equality in the society. He was addressing the gathering after receiving the first copy of the book “SAMEEPYA” authored by Shri. Prem Narain, a retired IAS officer and currently Member, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, here today.
The Vice President said that every human being must always be forward-thinking and diligent, only then the real goal and real development will be realized. He further said that Hindi writers to create literature that is easily understood and accepted in all parts of the country. Assimilation of literature of different languages amongst Indian population which has predominantly shared values is very crucial, he added.
The Vice President said that the youth of the country should have connection and interaction with the literary world in order to remain rooted to our cultural heritage and excel in soft power that India has.
The Vice President said that India never attacked any one, it was never an aggressor. He further said that India was always ahead of others in music, medicine and literature. Every Indian born in this country has a hidden talent like weavers, fishermen, and others. Government must encourage the talented youth with programmes like skill development, he added.
