I am deeply grieved to learn about the sad demise of former Member of Parliament and Bollywood icon Shri Rajesh Khanna.

Shri Khanna achieved unprecedented adulation for his films and received critical acclaim and awards for his acting. He will always be remembered by his numerous admirers and fans.

My wife joins me in sending heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and the wide circle of his friends and admirers. We pray to the Almighty to grant them the strength and fortitude to withstand this tragedy.
